"Full Moon" 36x48" Acrylic on Canvas 1999 This particular painting was very difficult to finish. The color of the midnight sky with full moon was very difficult to find. Layer on layer of color did not complete the painting. Finally, I mixed an unusually ugly green in my palette and dared to place it on the canvas. The final layer had been found to create the grey green cloud surrounding the moon and complete the painting. Here the "eyes of inner knowing" float above the full moon reminding us to look within for the answers and understanding.
