| This mural articulates the shared experience of many residents of Estrada courts who due to economic and political pressures were forced to move northward, despite their desire to remain in Mexico. The Ramirez family aging parents are seated in the real and unreal setting of Estrada Courts, their dreams of achieving economic stability and providing their children education and a better life are contrasted with the realities they found in the U.S. |
